🎨🍂 Year 1 Get Creative with Conker Painting! 🍂🎨
Our Year 1 children had a fantastic time exploring their creativity through conker painting today! Using autumn treasures and lots of imagination, the children created colourful and unique artwork while developing their fine motor skills and having plenty of fun.
It was wonderful to see their excitement as they experimented with different colours, patterns and techniques. We are so proud of their creativity, enthusiasm and excellent behaviour throughout the activity.
Well done, Year 1 – your masterpieces brightened our day! 🌟🖌️

👮🚓 Year 5 Mini Police Programme Begins! 🚓👮
Year 5 took part in their very first Mini Police session! The children learned about the differences between Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) and police officers, gaining a greater understanding of the important roles they play in keeping us safe.
Together, they created their own Mini Police rules and explored how the police help and protect our community. The children asked thoughtful questions and showed great enthusiasm throughout the session.
We are excited to be working with Nick over the coming year as Year 5 continue their Mini Police journey and learn how they can play a positive role in keeping our community safe. 🌟

🏛️ We Are Historians! 🏛️
Year 2 have been stepping back in time this week as they explored life in the Victorian era. Using pictures and artefacts, the children became history detectives, examining clues from the past and asking thoughtful questions about how life was different for Victorian children and families.
We have been so impressed by their curiosity, enthusiasm and historical thinking. Well done, Year 2! 🌟

🏛️✨ Year 4 Historians in Action! ✨🏛️
This week, our Year 4 children have been putting their historian skills to the test by investigating a range of artefacts and using clues to infer what they may have been used for. 🕵️‍♀️🔍
The children shared thoughtful ideas, asked excellent questions and worked together to piece together evidence from the past. It has been fantastic to see their curiosity and critical thinking skills in action!
Well done, Year 4 – you are becoming excellent historians! 🌟

Our Year 1 children were fully engaged in their phonics learning today, showing great enthusiasm, confidence and determination. It was wonderful to see them applying their sounds, blending skills and growing reading confidence through a range of fun and interactive activities.

In Maths this week, Year 6 have been exploring place value and breaking down numbers as large as 1,000,000! 🌟
Using their fantastic oracy skills, the children have been explaining the value of each digit in larger numbers and discussing their mathematical thinking with confidence. It has been wonderful to hear them use accurate mathematical vocabulary to justify their answers and support one another's learning.

🌿🍂 The children enjoyed their first Forest School session today! 🍂🌿
They had lots of fun taking part in a range of exciting Forest School activities, including colour matching with pegs, playing hide and seek, and exploring the outdoor environment. It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm, teamwork and curiosity as they learned and played together in nature. We can't wait for many more Forest School adventures! 🌳😊

On Tuesdays, we are so lucky to have a music lesson with Nonny! This week, Year 3 had the opportunity to play a variety of instruments, including the drums, bells and the wooden agogo.
Everyone showed fantastic respect and care when using the instruments and listened carefully throughout the session. Well done, Year 3 – you should be very proud of yourselves! 🌟🎵
