This playful glass blank design was created by Glass School student Susan Mason Gauvreau during last month's Sheet Glass Vessels course with Amanda Simmons. 🧿

It's wonderful to see how the pattern has stretched, reacted and transformed through the slumping process. We can't wait to see the finished vessel once the rim has been removed.👏

We can't wait to welcome back Lois Manno, creator of Modelling Glass, to teach with us this July!

Lois's live online masterclass will help you understand how to use Modelling Glass in a variety of exciting new ways. Lois will show you how to build up surfaces to create sculptural, realistic bas-relief forms, which are then painted with enamels.

Getting Started with Lamp working taught by Laura Quinn is here! 🔥

Laura’s artist course offers a clear and practical overview of how to confidently set up your space with the right equipment to start lamp working.

Practice projects will include preparing mandrels, making a basic bead, exploring texture and colour reactions as well as making pendants and leaf components that can be used for glass fusing 🍃
