We got crafty for VE Day celebrations today 🇬🇧

Bird watch day, we made our very own dickie birds, bird feeders, practiced songs and a spot of bird watching! These photos and especially the videos are a real representation of what it’s like to work with children, no instagram, all reality 😂 x

Using our Pudsey bear as a learning opportunity, colour sorting, counting, practicing fine motor skills as well as seeking, sharing and turn taking 🔴🟠🟡🟢🔵 amazing what fun and learning can be had with some buttons, chalk pens and a cardboard box! 🙂💭 👍🏼🌳😍

Remembrance / Poppy Day play, playing with dough and making poppy biscuits ❤️

We are so lucky to have found the best little forest school ran by some amazing fellow childminders, the children are always so keen to go and spending the morning outdoors is always great fun no matter the weather 👍🏼🙂🌳🌧️☀️

Painting doesn’t have to be sat at a table or even inside, we have come out to explore what we can see and the colours around us at autumn time, and just look at the beautiful creations the children have come up with 🍂 🌳 👏🏼🥰

We were lucky enough to be invited to a friends garden this week to pick apples from the tree, the children all embraced the experience and we spent lots of time hitting, catching, counting and collecting apples, the follow day we peeled, chopped them and made a delicious crumble 🍏
