Yoga is not just about the poses šæ
While movement is an important part of the practice, yoga also offers tools for navigating everyday life with greater calm, awareness, and compassion.
Did you know, for example, that the word "yoga" comes from the Sanskrit root yuj, meaning "to join" or "to unite"?
Traditionally, yoga was never intended to be just a physical exercise. It is a path that helps bring body, mind, breath, and awareness into harmony.
In my beginner-friendly classes, we gently explore and fully honour yoga's authentic roots through movement, breath, relaxation, philosophy, and reflection.
A practice not just for the body, but for the whole of life...on and OFF the mat

Gratitude isn't always about the big things.
Sometimes it's the warmth of a simple cup of tea just a tt he right time, a moment of unexpected quiet in the chaos, a body that carries us through another day, or the kindness of a smile from a stranger.....
The more I practise gratitude, the more I notice that life's simple moments often hold the greatest gifts.....
Today, I am grateful for the opportunity to pause, breathe, and appreciate all that is already here.... šæ

YAY - The doors finally open this afternoon for my 6 Week Tai Chi Shibashi Course for Complete Beginners ......and there is still time to join us.
These gentle classes are designed to awaken the body and calm the mind through flowing, mindful movement.
Each week we explore the Tai Chi Shibashi Set 1 sequence ā a slow, breath-led meditative practice that supports:

Well, a new month often brings a quiet invitation to begin again or start something new....
Not with pressure.
Not with perfection.
But with small moments of care for ourselves.
