Anyone else craving a little ray of sunshine to get us through January?
We've already started lighting the fires, bringing out the candles and upping our lighting game to beat the blues - but you can also change up your decor in other ways to lift your spirits.
Some love to switch out soft furnishings with the seasons to give a different vibe, while others create mood via seasonal flowers and greenery, which hints at spring.
How do you make your January space sing?

Putting together patterns, colours and fabrics can be overwhelming (or really fun, if you love it as much as we do!), but if you struggle knowing what goes with what and you don’t want to be matchy-matchy, then here’s a few tips:
1. Remember that your patterns don’t have to match, they just have to go. By that we mean they have to have some element in common. That might be colour, style, or scale.
2. 3 patterns is usually a great amount per room (but you can do more, or less, there are no rules, but this is a great guide if you’re dipping your toe in the water).
Pick one of each of the following:
* Floral/Organic
* Geometric
* Scale that is much smaller or much larger than your other 2 choices.
3. Have a common thread - Is there a colour in your first choice fabric that you want to highlight? Use that colour to make your second fabric choice, or try to connect the fabrics in some way to each other for a more coherent look.
