๐ฟโจ What an AMAZING start to our Summer HAF Forest School sessions! โจ๐ฟ
Weโve had the most fantastic first few sessions, and itโs been wonderful to see so many children enjoying the freedom of the outdoors, making new friends, building confidence and creating memories that will last long after the summer holidays.
From campfire cooking ๐ฅ to den building, woodland adventures, creative crafts, nature exploration and plenty of muddy fun, every day has been packed with laughter, learning and adventure. Watching children challenge themselves, work together and simply enjoy being children in nature is exactly what Forest School is all about. ๐
A huge thank you to all of the families for trusting us with your children, and to our brilliant team for making every session so special. We couldnโt do it without you! ๐ณ
We still have lots more adventures to come over the next few weeks and we canโt wait to welcome even more smiling faces into the woods.
Hereโs to a summer filled with fresh air, muddy boots, campfires and unforgettable memories! ๐๐

๐ฟ๐ A Fascinating Discovery on Lawrence Weston Moor! ๐๐ฟ
Todayโs Forest School adventure took us on a wonderful walk around Lawrence Weston Moor, where we stumbled upon something truly special โ a large cluster of Peacock butterfly caterpillars! ๐ฆ
The children were completely captivated by the sight of these tiny, spiky caterpillars huddled together amongst the nettles. It sparked lots of curiosity, questions, and excitement as we stopped to observe them closely and learn more about their incredible life cycle.
One of our young explorers was especially enthusiastic and proudly shared everything he knew about Peacock caterpillars with the group. It was fantastic to see his confidence shine and to watch the other children listening so intently and learning from their peer. ๐
Moments like these remind us why we love Forest School so much โ nature provides endless opportunities for discovery, wonder, and child-led learning. From spotting wildlife to sharing knowledge and building confidence, every walk brings a new adventure.
We canโt wait to see what we discover next! ๐ฑโจ
