🌿💚 Celebrating our SEND Stay & Play summer! 💚🌿

As our summer sessions come to an end, we would like to extend a huge thank you to the HAF team and Bristol’s Your Holiday Hub programme for the funding and support that has enabled us to provide our SEND Stay & Play sessions throughout the summer.

This funding has allowed us to offer free, inclusive woodland sessions for children with SEND and their families, providing a welcoming and supportive space where children can explore, play, create and experience all the wonderful benefits of spending time in nature. 🌳🍃

We are incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to provide these sessions and to welcome so many wonderful children and families into our woodland this summer. 💚

And a special thank you to a wonderful parent for these beautiful pictures of her daughter enjoying the woodland with us. 🥰🌿

Seeing children happy, comfortable and free to explore their surroundings is exactly what these sessions are all about.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this summer such a special one. 🌳💚

🌿 What a beautiful summer we’ve had in the woodland! 🌿

As our summer sessions come to an end, we just wanted to take a moment to say a huge thank you to all of our wonderful families for trusting us with your children and allowing them to spend their summer with us. 💚

We’ve had the BEST six weeks — full of adventures, muddy hands, woodland exploring, laughter, friendships, creativity and so many lovely memories. 🌳✨

It’s always such a privilege to watch the children enjoy the freedom of being outdoors, trying new things, building confidence and simply being children.

And now, somehow, summer is coming to an end! ☀️🍂

It’s time to say goodbye to the long days and warm evenings and hello to crisp mornings, crunchy leaves, muddy boots and all the magic that the autumn woodland brings. 🍁🍄

Thank you for being part of another wonderful Back2Basics summer.

Here’s to our next woodland adventure… 💚🌿

🌿✨ What an AMAZING start to our Summer HAF Forest School sessions! ✨🌿

We’ve had the most fantastic first few sessions, and it’s been wonderful to see so many children enjoying the freedom of the outdoors, making new friends, building confidence and creating memories that will last long after the summer holidays.

From campfire cooking 🔥 to den building, woodland adventures, creative crafts, nature exploration and plenty of muddy fun, every day has been packed with laughter, learning and adventure. Watching children challenge themselves, work together and simply enjoy being children in nature is exactly what Forest School is all about. 💚

A huge thank you to all of the families for trusting us with your children, and to our brilliant team for making every session so special. We couldn’t do it without you! 🌳

We still have lots more adventures to come over the next few weeks and we can’t wait to welcome even more smiling faces into the woods.

Here’s to a summer filled with fresh air, muddy boots, campfires and unforgettable memories! 🌞🍃
