👣 Sometimes the best adventures are right on our doorstep 👣

We headed out for a little walk around the village, taking our time to see what we could spot along the way.

The children were busy looking at the changing season, noticing what was around them and chatting about the things they could see. It’s lovely being able to use our local surroundings as an extension of the nursery!

We collected leaves, had a good look at all their different shapes and textures, then used them to create our own pictures.

A simple activity, but one that gave us plenty to talk about, explore and get creative with. And yes, there was paint everywhere!

From counting and matching to recognising different shapes, the children have been busy exploring, and as always, it’s much more fun when you can learn through play!

Our Pre School children have been making the most of being out and about in the local area, collecting all things ‘Autumn’ along the way!

Plenty of treasures have been finding their way back to nursery, ready to be used in our activities. Sometimes the best resources are the ones we find right outside the door!

💙 Welcome back, everyone! 💙

We hope you’ve all had a wonderful summer filled with sunshine, fun and maybe just a little bit of ice cream!

And just like that… we’re heading into autumn!

There are lots of exciting things to look forward to over the coming weeks, from exploring the changes happening outside to getting creative, playing, learning and making plenty of new memories together.

We’ll also be spending time during the first few weeks exploring ‘All About You’. This gives us a lovely opportunity to get to know our children and their families, whether they’re moving up through the nursery or are just starting their journey with us.
