Congrats to our brilliant DofE adventurers for completing your trek last week!

They've retained the legacy! Congrats to our brilliant French debating team who brought home the win from the Bristol schools MFL debating competition. Thanks to our friends for hosting.

Le débat était chouette ! On est entré dans le théâtre à BGS où il y avait des rafraîchissements gratuits, et on pouvait parler en français aux autres équipes avant les débats. Puis, on nous a parlé des règlements du débat, et nous sommes allés aux salles de classe. Le débat s’est déroulé pendant 10 minutes, les équipes et même les observateurs pouvaient nous poser des questions, et les examinateurs faisaient des notes. Enfin, tout le monde s’est rendu au théâtre où on a commencé, et les examinateurs ont annoncé les résultats : notre équipe a gagné ! C’était une merveilleuse expérience que je le ferais encore!"

You may have noticed that our socials have woken up from winter hibernation today! A throwback to another magnificent at NBP16. We will never get tired of this event.

At the end of last term we welcomed our MP to host a workshop with students exploring their ambitions for Bristol and how they would like to see Carla representing them in government. We reckon there are at least a few future MPs in this pic!

When it already feels like the twelfth week of a wet and windy January, Wellbeing Week couldn't have been better timed. Our students took a little time away from their studies, ahead of mock week, to engage with a range of wellbeing activities including stress ball making and a visit from the gorgeous Jade, our favourite therapy dog.
