South Bristol Life Drawing

17/06/2022

Hello all, unfortunately we are having to cancel the life drawing session scheduled for this Sunday (19th). This is due to our model having to pull out at the last minute and there being too little time to fill the slot with someone who has been properly briefed.

I hope you can understand that these things do happen, and that it's nobody's fault.

For anyone who has already bought a ticket, or was hoping to come along on the day, we would still love for you to join us at the next session, which is scheduled to take place on the 3rd of July, and, if you ready paid, you can use the ticket you purchased for this weeks session to allow your entry into the next.

We are very sorry to have to cancel but sometimes life likes to muddle up our plans. We hope you have a lovely sunday nonetheless and are looking forward to seeing you in the future.

Please do drop me a message if you have any questions.

Thank you for your understanding.

A little about us...

Myself (Steph) and my friend Mahalia met at university while we were both studying Art History. We ran life drawing classes for two years with a creative arts society at university and have wanted start a new class now that we have both graduated and are settled and working in Bristol. And so, South Bristol life Drawing was born!

Mahalia and I are both artists ourselves, I am primarily a painter and textile artist, and Mahalia is a graphic designer. If you're interested in our personal projects you can find us both on Instagram, .art and .

With South Bristol life Drawing our aim is to create a safe, comfortable and relaxing space for anyone to enjoy. Our sessions focus on self exploration and personal development through the promotion of creativity as a therapeutic tool. In other words, we want to help you switch off you mind for an hour or so and explore the possibilities of art on your own terms.

It is also very important to is that our classes remain as affordable as possible so that people from all walks of life have the opportunity to feel the emotional and theraputic benefits of creative practice and maybe uncover a hidden talent.

As we are just starting out we appreciate any and all feed back, and it would mean a lot to us if you could come along to a session and help us spread the word.

Currently, we must ask that you bring your own materials but we are hoping to provide some materials in the future once we have raised enough money from ticket sales. But really all you need is paper and a pen or pencil, whatever you enjoy working with.

Hope to see you soon

Thank you xx
