Abacus @ meadowbrook

Our first post of the term as we have been busy settling and making new friends. We have had a great start, exploring our new environment and making it ours.

The children have made displays based around nursery rhymes:
5 currant buns
Incy wincy spider
Baa baa black sheep
5 little monkeys

We have explored different materials through play

Water, Gloop, Rice, Pasta, Sand, Mud

We are learning the pre-school rules

Kind hands
Walking feet
Quiet voices
Listening ears

We have started our forest school sessions :

Exploring the woods
Litter picking
Hide and seek
Nature treasure hunt
Story time : Wow said the owl 🦉

Up and coming events :
McMillan coffee morning 25th September:
Everyone welcome come along to our meadowbrook cafe 10 till 11

Teddy bears picnic :
5th October Savage woods 4:30 till 5:30

Amazing start to term, with much more to come! Updates will be more regular from now on . Thank you for your patience.
