**458 Bus update - delayed pickup today**

The operator has advised us that there is a delay on the 458 service this morning due to a mechanical breakdown. We have not been advised of an estimated pickup time but will keep you updated as information becomes available.

Once again, we're excited to be opening our doors to Year 6 families and prospective Post 16 students this autumn. This is the perfect opportunity to tour our facilities, meet our inspiring staff, hear from key transition leaders and experience our vibrant learning environment.

We wanted to make our families aware of face-to-face advice and signposting available from Compass (South Glos Early Help), currently running from the One Stop Shops in Yate, Patchway and Kingswood.

This support is available now to all families who may need information, advice, or signposting for their children and young people. These sessions are also available during the summer holidays when school is closed. Please see the attached poster and scan the QR code for details of drop-in sessions - no appointment needed.

Following the success of last year's Junior Chef Academy they are offering the programme again for aspiring young chefs across Bristol 👩‍🍳👩‍🍳👩‍🍳 Here's what to expect:

🍴 A 10-week hands-on culinary experience
🍴 Learning essential cooking skills and techniques
🍴 Developing knowledge of food safety

The programme will finish with a special graduation event, where students will design, prepare and cook their own menu for guests – including their families.

Places are limited and highly sought after, so we encourage you to apply and share your passion for cooking! Successful applicants will be invited to a welcome session at CofB's College Green campus on Wednesday 9th September.

It is celebrated in many ways, from large parades with floats, music, and pageantry to protests to draw attention to the violence and inequality that LGBTQ+ people face. Pride is unique to each individual, so all forms of celebration are valid. The theme for this year’s Pride is .
