recently, apple decided to repeat the mistakes of the past rather than learn from them, and added a "feature" that was loathed back at the start of 2007 with the release of windows vista.
naturally, as is one of Microsoft's (few) strengths, they provided options to customise many aspects of this glass (they called it aero) effect.

apple... only has one option, "make transparent objects solid", which techniCALLout recommends.

for whatever little good they might do for anyone, it is so grossly outweighed by the bad that the good pales in comparison to an almost vanishing point.

It's important to know that any time you see something that used "ai" (quote marks for good/depressing reason) it contributed to this, and worse.

all the tech we use are simply tools, though their complexity has grown so far beyond what we typically think of as tools.

got a nail? use a hammer!
got a screw? a hammer is no good!

of my many sayings that get me through life, one of them is "there's a tool for every job".

if we aren't using the intended tool the right way, we may as well be using the wrong tool.

and if we aren't taught how to use the tool, will we be able to teach ourselves right?

On buying ourselves a new phone (after much research!), techniCALLout learnt of a feature unique to the Google Pixel line of phones.
They can automatically transcribe the call you're in, allowing you to read rather than listen.
This is especially helpful when you're answered by a bot that's reading out menu options.
It even shows those options as buttons you can press.

Despite how revolutionary this feature is, techniCALLout will still recommend to most people they only spend around £200.

We suggest avoiding apple (pay more get less, become trapped) and Samsung (worst bloatware of all). There's plenty of other android phones that are better than samsung, such as motorolla, and Nokia (they're still around, kind of, HMD now).
