You will receive a tour, meet the team and find out more about our wonderful school. We have three open days confirmed:

📅 Wednesday 30th September - 9.15am-11.15am.
📅 Thursday 22nd October - 1:30pm-3.00pm.
📅 Monday 9th November - 4:00pm-5.00pm.

Our open days include a welcome and introduction from Mr Stewart, our Headteacher. You can enjoy a tour of the school and an opportunity to meet our children and listen to why they feel that Hollingwood is so special.

That’s it… our wonderful Y6 children are on their way… 🌟 What an absolutely incredible final performance they put on - we hope it’s a memory they will treasure for a lifetime 🎥

It was lovely to welcome our volunteers into school today to thank them for all their hard work and support this year.

We are very lucky to have parents, grandparents, sports leads, landscapers and members of the community who give up their time to help in many different ways and we are very grateful.

A big thank you to evberyone who came to our Laurel class authentic outcome where we shared our enquiry learning "Where can we go on holiday?" through an Indian theme. We designed mehndi, performed some bhangra dancing and even built the Taj Majal!

We welcomed Mrs Holmes into assembly this week to say a big goodbye. We were delighted to present Mrs Holmes with this year's Julie Marshall award for her outstanding contribution to the arts over the years.
I'm sure you'll agree she is a very worthy recipient!

It was a very pink-themed Ashgate Hospice special mention assembly this week with our Sparkle Walk.

We also celebrated 4 LEGACY award winners who have made a real difference to out community. These 3 girls took part in the Ashgate Hospice Sparkle Walk last week while Henry received a special award from the paramedic, Dave, who was so impressed by his response to a 1st Aid incident with his baby brother!

Well done to all our children!

Our nursery children had the best of times today at Matlock Farm Park. The Matlock breeze was a wonderful distraction from the heat and they loved spending time with the animals.

Thank you to all our helpers and to Mrs Farley for organising the day!
