The Littlehampton Academy scholars day!
Today we ran a workshop with the Littlehampton yr 7 scholars, themed on the qualities of a ‘scholar’: creativity, imagination, collaboration and curiosity.

What lies below the Ocean?
What lies in the unknown?
The children stand on the bridge wondering
What’s past the horizon?
What lies beneath the ocean?

Do sharks like ice cream?
In the reflection on the water, you see the face of someone you should be proud of.
A life longing for love and hope
Ourselves 20 years from now, fighting for our peace.
When the storm finally broke,
The word was in CHAOS
Broken nets and torn Sails
The Seagulls squawk and screech.
As something arose beneath
Then it all dropped Silent
and the sky and sea lay peacefully
the water was calm and people stopped hiding
The Ocean started to fill up with boats
And the colour of the sky returned to life.
