Workshops For The Imagination Workshops For The Imagination is a unique art studio for children aged from 2 years based in Brighton.

Workshops For The Imagination was set up by Alex Sutton-Vane to bring a wider range of quality art to children aged from 2yrs. It is based in Brighton and run through a unique art studio for children, offering a range of after school art clubs,
pre school art with music and creative play, themed art parties and holiday art workshops. The philosophy behind Workshops For The Imagination
is to allo

w creativity to thrive in an informal but structured environment. Using a wide range of materials and computer programmes children can invent, create and formulate ideas, allowing them to be free with their imagination. The workshop leaders are there to direct this process, instigate ideas and help solve problems. There is an emphasis on three dimensional design and model making using a wide variety of different materials and exploring techniques such as origami, paper sculpture and pop up pictures.

Hello all art clubbers.
It really feels as though Spring has finally sprung!
We are running three days of Easter holiday art activities this year from Monday 30th to Wednesday 1st March.

Hello Hanover,

I currently have spaces on the pre school art and music sessions on Mondays 9.30-11am and Fridays 10-11.30am for 2-3yr olds.

The first sessions are Friday 9th and Monday 12th.

These are fun relaxed sessions where you can explore the studio together and find four or five different art activities to do, or sit on the sofa and read a book.

They are designed to build on motor skills and explore different textures and art materials.

We do art for about 45mins then there is a break for juice and fruit followed by half an hour of music using props and toys.

If you haven't been to a session before you can come and try one out for £3.

Long summer daze are here - now the holiday has begun.

Happy summer days art clubbers.

I have decided to have a break this year as well as needing to put a new floor in and sort some walls out in the studio.

So I won't be running any sessions over the holidays.

We will be back running the pre school and after school art clubs when the schools go back in September.

Also I will be running the usual Christmas holiday art sessions.
