Video artists: do you want your work shown on the Piccadilly Lights? 21/05/2021

Amazing opportunity and invitation for all emerging artists, to make a 2.5min film and submit it to CIRCA for screening on London's Piccadilly Circus! Top prize: £30.000!
The scheme is curated by former Brighton student Angel Rose Denman.

Class of 2021 is a new global arts initiative created by Circa and Dazed. The open call for Class of 2021 invites emerging artists from across the globe to submit a two and half minute video that responds to the theme of ‘communion.’
- 30 selected artists will exhibit their work on the iconic Piccadilly Lights screen this September.
- Those selected will also be offered access to the Dazed Space, a new multimedia studio complex in London
- One lucky finalist will receive the Circa Economy Fund, a 30,000 funding pot to help them kickstart their career.

The theme: Communion

GROUNDED: A SEASON OF SCREENDANCE
28 July – 9 August 2020
grounded is a season of online screenings that brings work together under the framework of Screendance, a term that signals an affinity between choreographic and cinematic approaches to art practice, an attraction between dance and film that is as old as cinema itself.
The season is composed of five online screenings; each programme will be made available for 24 hours from 6pm, and films will be embedded and accessible on the website for the duration. grounded is curated by Claudia Kappenberg, University of Brighton and Fiontán Moran,Tate Modern, and hosted online by Coastal Currents, Hastings UK.
