I received a lovely bouquet of flowers from our student, Teeka yesterday.
Teeka has made remarkable progress in her Mandarin learning journey and has completed both Jin Bu levels 1 and 2 in just over a year.
She attends Mandarin lessons with us once a week and diligently completes her homework in between.
Her determination to continue learning is admirable, and she is also preparing to take the GCSE exam.
Congratulations 🎉 to Teeka!

It's winter solstice in the Chinese solar term today! People celebrate by:

Getting warm around the stove
Brewing tea
Lighting incense
Meditating
Listening to the snow
Drinking warmed rice wine
Reading in the evening
Appreciating plum blossoms
I did brush calligraphy with my students for this occasion last week.
