Join us for some quizzing fun, a glass of wine, and plenty of merriment as we raise funds to support Fiveways Playcentre.

We are a Childcare charity that has supported families in the local area for nearly 50yrs! We’re looking for a dedicated level 2/3 Early Years Practitioner/ Playworker to join our friendly team at Fiveways Playcentre. This is a rewarding role where no two days are the same — from creative play and outdoor fun to supporting children’s learning and wellbeing.

You’ll help create a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment, support children’s individual development, and build positive relationships with families and colleagues.

If you love working with children, value teamwork, and want to make a real difference every day, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re looking for enthusiastic Afterschool Playworkers to join our friendly, team starting Jan 2026.

Do you love working with children 5-11yrs? Are you excited by play, creativity, and supporting children to thrive? Would you like to work for a local charity that has supported families in the area for nearly 50yrs!

This is a term-time only role, with a set shift 2:30-6:30pm on selected days Mon-Fri. Plus you will need to be available to work some days at our much-loved Easter and Summer holiday clubs. There is also opportunity to get involved in our fundraising events throughout the year.

Our mischievous little elf has struck again… this time sneaking into the staff room and eating all the Christmas biscuits! 🍪😳

Looks like even our elves can’t resist a festive treat — but we’re keeping an eye on him before he gets into any more trouble! 😂✨

Ops we were so busy yesterday we forgot to update you on our elfs antics..

Yesterday our cheeky elf couldn’t resist causing more chaos… This time he’s got into the pancake ingredients ready for Saturday and he made snow angels all over the kitchen! 😳❄️🥞

We’re not sure whether to laugh or cry — but we are sure he’s getting more mischievous by the day!
