What an incredible World Book Day celebration we had! Thanks to our amazing school & community, the Wonderlicious chocolate bar event raised over £300!

✨ Over 250 individual prizes were won!

📖 Every child in Nursery received a book and a themed sticker!

🏫 Every class has won a prize!

From exciting winning tickets hidden inside chocolate bars to prizes celebrating the joy of reading, it was wonderful to see so many children getting involved and sharing the magic of books.

Your support helps us continue creating fun events and opportunities that encourage a love of reading across the school.

💚 A huge thank you to everyone who bought a bar, helped organise the event, and joined in the fun.

Unclaimed golden tickets & winning tickets for afterschool club children will be available for collection tomorrow after school.

A limited number of bars will be available on the day.

To celebrate World Book Day on Thursday 5th March, the PTA are excited to launch a special school fundraiser — our very own Mile Oak Wonderlicious Bars!

Each bar comes in a unique Mile Oak themed wrapper, making it a lovely keepsake as well as a tasty treat. Hidden inside some bars will be winning tickets — with over 200 winners across the school! There are individual prizes, class prizes, group prizes and more up for grabs, including books and treats.

Important information:
- Bars are £1.50 each
- Pre-order limited to 1 bar per child via ParentPay
- A free-from option (gluten, milk & wheat free) is available to pre-order. Simply pay for your order then contact the PTA directly stating your child's allergy. [email protected]
- CASH ONLY purchase on the day, limited stock available
- Orders will be delivered to children in school on World Book Day – 5th March

We strongly recommend pre-ordering to avoid disappointment, as only limited extra stock will be available on the day, CASH ONLY.

Every bar purchased helps raise valuable funds for the school and supports future events and resources for the children — thank you for your continued support!

Orders must be made by 12pm on Tuesday 3rd March.

Following the success of 'Cosy Day' back in October, we are delighted to announce that we will be holding another fundraising event with 'Wear What You Love Day' - Friday 13th February.

Children will be able to wear what they love and in return we are asking for a small donation (suggested donation £1).

Ambassadors can wear home clothes on Thursday.

Sensible footwear is a must, no crocs, football boots or slippers.

We will be outside during drop off and collection with their donation buckets.

Back in October the 'Cosy Day' raised over £300, so we hoping this will be just as successful ☺️

Tinsel - do you have some you need rid of? We are looking for any tinsel, baubles, wrapping paper, or Christmas trees that are otherwise going to the tip or charity.
We can collect locally and would appreciate anything to enhance our children’s Christmas experience at our winter event this year on the 11th😊
