Internal Inspirit Qigong
Sunday 19 July, 1.30pm to 4.30pm nternal Inspirit Qigong is based on the ancient Internal Qigong Alchemy (Nei Dan), Transformational Qigong (Hua Qi Gong) and Medical Qigong (Yi Liao Qi Gong). This workshop will focus on the Fire Element which relates to the summer. In Internal Qigong it relates to our heart centre: our Authentic Self and its consciousness. Essential Aikido
Monday 13 July, 11.30am to 12.30pm, 4 weeks, £40 Full / £36 Concession The Shodokan system of aikido is superbly structured to develop technical understanding; fully engaging your mind and body and learning to work with your partners in cooperation rather than confrontation. Paul has been running Sussex Aikido since 1998 so brings a wealth of knowledge to the practice. As well as studying the basic and applied posture and techniques, you will start to engage the mind in your aikido practice, appreciate win-win by working with your partners in learning and see how aikido can be a tool for self-defence, confidence-building, fitness and increasing flexibility. Bollywood Dance Course - July

Together you’ll cover basic steps from Bhangra to Bollywood films and traditional to Western influenced dances, building up a catalogue of choreography,techniques and routines. You’ll learn how to perform these exciting dances step-by-step, guided by our brilliant and supportive dance tutor Rosaria. Suitable for all levels of dancing ability including complete beginners Your tutor Rosaria is an award winning dance artist, choreographer, movement director and university lecturer. Forward Folds & Inversions yoga workshop

In this workshop we will explore and develop our relationship to these poses and look at why yogis practiced them to change the flow of life and extend the life-force quality. Your Tutor Jim Tarran emphasises essential yoga practices such as āsana (posture), samādhi (meditation), prāṇāyāma (breathing practices), mudrā (hand gestures), and mantra (chanting), providing a comprehensive experience for all.
