Welcome Back! We've had a brilliant day in our new year groups and classes and have got together in assembly time to talk about some of the things that make our school so very special. We've had a brilliant final day at school and it's not over yet!

Our CAW Big Picnic was a great success and we enjoyed celebrating our reading raffle winners and our Year 6 Darren Moses Sports Awards in the Y6 Leavers Assembly today. A huge thank you to the canteen team for making the picnic such a success and the Year 6 team for the children's final send off.

We look forward to seeing families on the playground at home time and will be in touch at the start of term with all the need-to-know information for the year ahead. Children return to school on Thursday 3rd September at 8:30.

We bounced our way through today!

It was hard to tell who enjoyed the inflatable obstacle course more, the children or the staff! After an eventful (wet) end to the day, SLT were still smiling!

And we're not done yet...

We can't wait to see you tomorrow for the last day of term and the final day for our wonderful Year 6s (sob!). It wouldn't be CAW without a day full of celebrations:

- Lego-themed Breakfast Club at 8am
- Leavers' Assembly and shirt signing for Year 6
- Picnic Party at lunchtime
- End of Year Class Parties

A fantastic start to our final week of school!

We’re so proud of our Aspiration Award winners, who have shown excellent attendance and behaviour this term. Well done to all our winners! ⭐️

Other highlights today included the Year 6 leavers’ trip and some impressive lunchtime gymnastics 🤸‍♀️

Don’t forget, tomorrow is football-themed Breakfast Club and Bouncy Castle Day!

We’ll be ending the day with the chance to soak SLT, so get those water guns ready! 💦

It's been another busy and active day at CAW. Check out those dance moves!

We're looking forward to seeing everyone on Music Monday for our rainbow-themed Breakfast Club 🌈

We'll also be celebrating the children with the Reading Raffle and Aspiration Awards, and our Year 6 pupils will be heading off on their exciting leavers' trip!

What a talent-filled week it’s been! Take a look at some of the amazing performers from today’s music concert.

We’re looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow for Fruity Friday!🍎

Join us at 8am for Run Club, followed by our Year 6 Careers Fair, where the children will hear from a range of inspiring professionals.

A spot of morning yoga was a calm and mindful way to start our Wednesday.

We knew the CAW children were a talented bunch, so what better way to showcase that than with a surprise talent show hosted by SLT?

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow for Teacher Takeover Thursday. Your teachers will be taking over the timetable with exciting and unexpected activities!

Join us at 8am for our popular cross-country run. Later in the day, we'll be showcasing musical instrument performances and celebrating our Year 6 leavers with a BBQ.

Year 5 enjoyed a visit to The Royal Pavilion last week as part of their local history and geography study topic. They'd learnt about the varied uses of the Pavilion over the years, including when it was a War Hospital during WW1. Being able to explore it in real life was breathtaking and they made great use of the Dragons exhibition.
