Today to celebrate the World's Ocean Day we brought the ocean to the Playgroup.
Messy blue spaghetti play with all sorts of sea creatures, sorting sea theamed set, funky fish lamp, making sea horses and ocean in a bottle and water play, we still have lots of activities to go through, so this week there is more to come.
P. S. Today we learned that it's the daddy sea horse that carries the babies 😊

Who needs clean hands when you're having this much fun? 😍

Lots of mixing, building, decorating, and messy play created a colourful morning at playgroup today! 🌈🎨

The children really enjoyed creating their own nature faces today. It was lovely to see them choosing different leaves and natural materials to create their designs! πŸ˜ƒ πŸƒ

The children enjoyed a fun fine motor activity this morning. They used a hole punch to make holes around a paper plate before threading pipe cleaners through and adding beads to create some colourful hair! They then drew faces on their plates to complete their creations πŸŒˆπŸ˜€

The children were very engaged throughout the activity and showed great concentration as they carefully threaded the beads and pipe cleaners! 🧑

The children have absolutely loved exploring our new mud kitchen, following recipes and creating all sorts of muddy masterpieces together! 🌿πŸ₯£

Our 4 sided easel is out every day for the children to freely access and enjoy in their own way. Painting upright at the easel helps to build strength in their arms and shoulders, supports hand eye coordination, and helps develop the control needed for early writing skills.

It’s also a lovely way for the children to express themselves, explore colours and patterns, and enjoy creating art work alongside their friends! πŸ‘¨β€πŸŽ¨πŸŽ¨

We couldn’t resist! πŸ₯•
Today we dug up our very first carrot, and we are so proud! Now we’re patiently waiting for the others to grow bigger so we can enjoy them at snack time πŸ˜‹
