๐Ÿง โœจPhase 4 is one of the most profound steps in the Brainspotting journey โ€” a training that doesnโ€™t just expand your clinical toolkit, but reshapes the way you attune, perceive, and accompany your clients through their deepest processes.

On the 19-21st June 2026 , we invite you into three immersive days with Dr. David Grand, founder of Brainspotting, and Dr. Mark Grixti, Senior International Trainer, as they guide you through The Neuroexperiential Frame โ€” a powerful, embodied approach that deepens presence, intuition, and the subtle art of following the clientโ€™s innate wisdom.

Across this advanced training, youโ€™ll experience:

๐ŸŒฟ Three days of embodied, experiential learning

A blend of PowerPoint teaching, live demonstrations, and paired practicums that allow you to feel the work in your body โ€” not just understand it cognitively.

๐ŸŽฅ Three momentโ€‘byโ€‘moment video analyses

Watch Dr. Grand work in real client sessions, pausing to explore the microโ€‘movements, relational cues, and neurobiological shifts that shape the Brainspotting process. These sessions are followed by rich, interactive discussions and Q&A.

๐ŸŒ€ Three advanced Brainspotting techniques

โ€ข Dreamspotting โ€” accessing the subconscious through dream material
โ€ข The Expansion Model โ€” widening capacity, resilience, and internal space
โ€ข Bodyspotting โ€” attuning to somatic intelligence with precision and depth

This is a rare opportunity to learn directly from the founder of Brainspotting โ€” to witness his process, absorb his presence, and refine your own clinical artistry in ways that ripple through every session you hold.

Whether youโ€™re seeking to deepen your intuition, strengthen your attunement, or expand your therapeutic range, Phase 4 offers a transformative space to grow.

๐Ÿšช The altered state of consciousness that opens the door to changeโ€ฆ

๐Ÿ” Video narrated by Dr Mark Grixti - Head of Brainspotting UK

Some say there is no healing without trance states โ€” and in Brainspotting, we see why. Healing doesnโ€™t happen in the busy, analytical mind. It happens in the shift beneath it โ€” the quiet, altered state where the thinking brain softens and the deeper layers of the nervous system finally come forward.๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™‚๏ธ

This trance state isnโ€™t theatrical. Itโ€™s not hypnosis in the dramatic sense. Itโ€™s a natural neurobiological drop:
โœจa narrowing of focus,
โœจa settling of the system,
โœจa release of cognitive control.

Itโ€™s the same state the brain enters during meditation, deep presence, or moments of profound internal stillness. A state where the midbrain becomes more accessible, where implicit memory rises, and where the body begins to process what the mind has been protecting.

In Brainspotting, we use this tranceโ€‘like state with precision. The gaze anchors the focus. The therapistโ€™s attunement holds the safety. And the nervous system does what itโ€™s wired to do when given the right conditions โ€” reorganise, release, and repair.๐Ÿช„๐Ÿค

Brainspotting invites us back into that frame โ€” the place where the body finally feels safe enough to soften, release, and reorganise. Where the body remembers what the mind has learned to avoid. Where survival responses have been looping for years, waiting for the right conditions to unwind. ๐Ÿฉต

Through attunement, presence, and the simple act of following the eyes, we access the deeper layers of the nervous system that talk therapy canโ€™t always reach.

โœจThis is where the shaking stops.
โœจThis is where the breath returns.
โœจThis is where the brain begins to heal in its own time, in its own way.

Because at its core, Brainspotting isnโ€™t about fixing you โ€” itโ€™s about creating the conditions where your system finally feels safe enough to heal itself.

Itโ€™s the moment the body stops bracing for impact and starts trusting its own intelligence again.

The frame becomes the anchor, the therapist becomes the witness, and your nervous system becomes the guide. ๐Ÿช„โœจ

In the face of uncertainty, the frame is all we have โ€” and all we need. Because when we cannot know which part is present, when the system is shifting beneath language, when the person in front of us is meeting themselves in real time, certainty becomes a barrier, not a guide.

The frame is what holds when nothing else is clear.
Itโ€™s the grounded presence, the attuned nervous system,
the rightโ€‘brainโ€‘toโ€‘rightโ€‘brain connection that says:
We donโ€™t need to understand this yet. We just need to stay with it.๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™‚๏ธโ˜๏ธ

Uncertainty is not a failure of technique.
Itโ€™s the natural terrain of deep experiential work.
And the frame is the path through it โ€” steady, relational, responsive, alive.

When the story is fragmented, when the parts are unnamed, when the implicit world is rising without form, the frame becomes the only constant.
โœจNot to control the process, but to contain it.
โœจNot to interpret, but to witness.
โœจNot to direct, but to accompany.

Uncertainty opens the door.
The frame keeps it safe to walk throughโ€ฆ.โณ

โœจYour environment is shaping your brain more than you realise.๐Ÿง ๐Ÿ‘€

Your brain is constantly scanning, filtering, and organising the world around you.

Every colour, object, movement, and piece of visual โ€œnoiseโ€ competes for your attention โ€” even when you think youโ€™re ignoring it.

When your environment is balanced, predictable, and intentional, your brain interprets it as safe.
โœจIt can settle.
โœจIt can focus.
โœจIt can regulate.

But when your space is cluttered, chaotic, or visually dense, your brain shifts into a subtle state of vigilance.

It works harder to filter irrelevant details, suppress distractions, and decide what deserves attention.

This increases cognitive load, drains mental energy, and reduces your capacity for emotional regulation.

This is why environment matters in Brainspotting.๐ŸŒณ๐Ÿชพ
A regulated space supports a regulated brain.
A regulated brain supports deeper processing.

Your environment is either supporting your systemโ€ฆ or quietly draining it.โœจ

๐Ÿ” podcast taken from where is discussing the Serotonin Hypothesis โœจ๐Ÿง

What if trauma isnโ€™t just a story in your mind, but a pattern your body has been holding onto.

For many people, talking helps โ€” but only to a point.
Insight can bring understanding, yet the body often continues to operate from old survival states long after the mind believes it has โ€œmoved on.โ€ โœจ

Because the body keeps its own record.

It remembers the moments you had to stay quiet, stay small, stay alert. It remembers the strategies that once kept you safe
and now show up as anxiety, overthinking, avoidance, or exhaustion.๐Ÿ‘๏ธ

Trauma isnโ€™t only in the mind.
And healing isnโ€™t only in words.
Itโ€™s in the slow, steady return to safety inside your own body.

โœจYour brain is not just an organ โ€” itโ€™s an entire universe of possibility.

Your brain holds more power than youโ€™ve ever been taught to believe.

It remembers, it adapts, it protects, it evolves.

It carries your stories, your survival, your breakthroughs, your potential.

And every single day, it gives you another chance to grow into the person youโ€™re becoming.

You are not behind. You are not broken. You are not limited.

You are wired for expansion โ€” and your mind is ready for its next chapter.
