I seem to have accidentally started teaching again. Someone found my pre-covid harmonica teaching ad at Adaptatrap (Brighton) and bought her partner a lesson as a Christmas present. So now I'm back in the game for your harmonica and piano needs.

Taught my first piano lesson yesterday afternoon, with a non-beginner teenager. We looked at how primary chords are formed from the major scale and played (and sang) 'Let it Be'. Moving on from there and beginning blues next week.

Thought I'd let you know about this great piano tuition page, which shows you how to play (mostly) chord accompaniment to a wide range of songs. Speaking as a Secondary School Music Teacher, this would be a great direction to push your kids in, as it will help them a lot more than many of the piano tutorials to be ready for what will be required in Secondary School.
