Brighton Swimming School

Brighton Swimming School Since 1976, our 20M pool has helped generations build water confidence, and a love for swimming All our staff are friendly and enthusiastic.

Our teachers are ASA or STA qualified and every session is overseen by a supervisor and two lifeguards. Lower ability classes have a ratio of one instructor to three children and no class has more than nine students. Our lessons take place at Brighton Swimming Centre (formerly St. Mary's Hall)

We offer group lessons for children from the age of 12 months to 17 years old as well as 1 to 1 lessons

. We also offer lessons for adults of all abilities in a relaxed and friendly environment and for those with an adventurous nature there is our Sea Swimming programme. "The staff are enthusiastic and encouraging and I have seen vast improvements in both of my daughters swimming"

From little ones taking their first splash, kids diving into their next level to adults of all ages finally learning to swim, and sea swimmers strengthening their stamina.

Back to School means our new Autumn term timetable starts soon 🙌

With our popular group and 1:1 professional swimming lessons for kids starting 07 September.

Helping kids become stronger swimmers, and improve their confidence in the water in our 20m heated indoor pool.

Every session runs at a 4:1 teacher ratio, with STA qualified coaches, a poolside supervisor, and a maximum of 8 children per class.

A massive thank you to everybody who joined our Family Sea Safety workshops, hosted by Hildi and Becky from Sea Safety.

We had such a great day yesterday, helping to keep each other safe living by the sea 💙 🌊

We still have a few sessions over the summer holidays, free to HAF-eligible families.

Come and join us 17 and 27 August to learn about coastal hazards, rip currents, what to. do in an emergency, and so much more.
