Our online portrait drawing session is running as usual this evening (Monday 1st June) with as our model. Hyunah is currently on residency at

Hyunah paints water environments, such as ponds and rivers, and the ecosystems formed around them. Her practice grows from a desire to create such a space within the surface of a painting, one that allows for quiet attention and presence.

Hyunah will be chatting to our host about her creative practice and residency so far, during the first 10 minute pose.

In Urban Sketching Club we explore a different location in Brighton & Hove each session. This is a relaxed, untutored session that is free to attend and everybody is welcome to come and draw with us.

Jake spicer will be returning to Brighton in July for an exciting weekend of drawing at

Over the weekend we’ll explore exercises that help to draw portraits at a larger scale, taking inspiration from acclaimed artists such as and . We will be drawing from mirrors and from a professional portrait model to make A1-sized portrait drawings.

This weekend course is now SOLD OUT but send us a DM to be added to the waiting list for any last minute cancellations.

Join us TOMORROW in Preston Park for the annual Draw summer picnic!

The picnic is a chance to catch up with old friends and meet new ones and is open to everybody who would like to come along.

We will have modeling for us in costume between 2-4pm with performing live to accompany the drawing.

Those that can’t join us in person can join us online for the costumed drawing portion of the picnic!

Tonight’s online portrait club (Thursday 28th May) will be hosted by and is open to ALL patreon supporters! It’s a fun and informal drawing session where we all take turns to draw each other’s portraits.

For tonight’s optional theme, attendees are encouraged to challenge themselves by using their less-dominant hand while drawing their portraits!

Join us for our weekly drop-in life drawing session tonight (Thursday 28th May) at

This untutored session is suitable for all abilities with beginners welcome - will be on hand to give you any extra support you might need.

An unclothed model will be holding a range of poses from 2 - 45 mins long, with music playing during the session and a short break halfway through.
