She plays wonderful Jazzy acoustica that will soothe any soul.” – No Sweat. Currently based in Brighton, Lou has been influenced my many of the jazz, blues and soul artists of the 30s, 40s and 50s.. Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald and other greats, Kate Bush, Kd Lang, Madeleine Peyroux, Diana Krall… Her style is a mix of jazz,swing, soul, reggae & blues with ever changing mood…. Progressive, honest and evocative songs that can lure and appease the soul who hears.
