One of THE best things about being a yoga teacher is being the confidant of your students. Building relationships that allows faith and trust is an honour and a privilege...you know who you are!

Unbelievable achievements possible when you practice this yoga. Mental focus and determination are just some of the long term effects!

Bikram Yogi Andy Murray does it again! The newly crowned 2016 Wimbledon champion has consistently said Bikram Yoga plays an important role in his training regimen.

"It's helped a lot with my fitness and mental strength"

Olga Allon, Director at his home studio in London notes "The mental aspect is incredibly helpful for Andy and other athletes, because they learn to stay incredibly focused, which is hard, especially when you are learning to breathe in difficult postures like standing on one leg."

The magic that happens that often isn't believed until it's seen!

One of our students recently shared these x-rays with us. The first was taken in late January, just before she started Bikram yoga. The second was taken last week, after practicing 5-6 times a week since early February. Holy cow. Needless to say, she's had a HUGE decrease in her back pain and doesn't need to use her back braces anymore.

UPDATES: Since this post seems to have gone viral (!!!) and I can't keep up with the comments, here are the answers to some FAQs! I just spoke with my student and got the answers to most of your questions:

1. Yes, she was wearing clothes for this x-ray. (It was done at her chiropractor.) In the first picture you can see the grommets from her sweatpants, and in both pictures you can see her bra hooks. No internal hardware. Some of the more experienced x-ray viewers were correct about this. ;)

2. She's been going to the chiropractor twice a week (since before the first x-ray was taken), but now she is going to start going less often because she's getting such good results from adding yoga.

3. For everyone who's asking if this is possible for them, she says, "Give it a try!! You won't know unless you try it."

4. I've had lots of messages from people who suffer with sciatica and other back problems wanting to know if they should try Bikram yoga. Yes! Just take it easy in the beginning and find a good teacher who can guide you. We have a small studio in a small town and we are able to give our students lots of personal attention, which definitely helps. But Bikram yoga is amazing. :)

Cheers, guys!
