Boomerang Kids Nursery

On Tuesday, we put on our safari outfits, grabbed our animal masks, and set off on our Big Toddle to support Barnardo's! We walked our 0.5 mile route around the park, cheered each other on every step of the way and had so much fun on our safari adventure.

We are so proud to share that, thanks to the incredible generosity of our families, friends, and supporters, we have raised an amazing £690 for Barnardo's so far!

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, sponsored us, and came out to support us on the day. Seeing so many friendly faces along the route created such a wonderful atmosphere and made our walk even more special.

We love exploring colours in the most exciting way. Our hands are often covered in paint as we splatter, swirl and create abstract masterpieces. Every splash becomes part of our own little world and we are completely focused on our creations. Learning through art has never been so bright, fun, and full of imagination!

At Little Explorers, we became code detectives! We worked carefully, trying different keys, thinking hard and strategically working out which one unlocked each lock. Every turn and click was a new challenge and we stayed focused until we solved it. Problem solving has never been so hands on, exciting, or satisfying.

In the Bunnies, we’re learning to do things all by ourselves, some of us older ones are getting ready to transition to pre-school. We are serving our own meals, practicing independence and confidence just like we will in our new groups. Little hands, big achievements, every scoop and pour is a step towards growing up!

We’re on toothbrush duty!
First, we find our very own toothbrush with our name on it. Then we take just a little toothpaste on the paper towel so germs don’t mix. Time to brush, brush, brush our teeth, front, back, and all around. After rinsing, we pop our brushes back onto the toothbrush train, ready for next time.

WE'RE UPSIDE DOWN!!!

We’ve been busy climbing, painting, running, jumping, giggling and having lots of fun with our friends.

We practised balancing on the climbing frame, raced around playing football, explored indoors and outdoors, and got wonderfully messy creating bright blue handprint masterpieces. Every step we climb, every game we play and every picture we paint helps us grow in confidence, creativity and independence.
At Boomerang Kids, learning happens through laughter, teamwork, adventure and play. We love discovering new things together, cheering on our friends and enjoying our nursery days.

We’ve been exploring, experimenting and building all kinds of interesting creations.

Every twist, turn, and new idea helps us understand how things work and sparks even more imagination. Some creations are tricky, some are silly and all of them teach us something new while we have lots of fun!

We got to be real builders today and use actual tools like hammers, saws, and screwdrivers!
First, we talked together about how to stay safe, how to hold the tools carefully, and why our eyes are so important to protect. Then we put on our safety goggles and got ready for action.
We explored how tools work, practiced our coordination, and felt so proud creating with our own hands. It was exciting, a little bit challenging, and lots of fun learning new skills just like real woodworkers!

We dug, we sprinkled, we watched… Our little hands have been busy exploring, planting, and learning all about how things grow.

We can't wait to see the tiny seeds sprout. Feeling the soil squish between our fingers, giving the thirsty plants a sip of water, we're excited to see them get bigger and bigger!

Every little seed taught us something new, how soil, water, sunlight, and a bit of love all work together to make plants happy. Learning about the natural world is so much fun.

We love being outside in our garden all year round, keeping active and having lots of fun. We’ve been putting on our helmets and exploring all the different ways we can move using our bikes, scooters and other equipment. We are making the most of our outdoor space, staying safe while we play, and we are very excited for the warmer days ahead. 😎
