Friends, I'll be honest, this is a repost from last year and I had EVERY intention of making this a series but then as usual life got in the way.

SO this time I want to make this into a series profiling the old school hoop tricks that imo need to be brought back.

OG hoopers, please comment some of your fave moves from back in the day. And new school hoopers, do you want to see more of this ?

Ps I cannot believe that I'm approaching my 20 year hoopaversary (Jan 2027!). The nostalgia is real.

So I've been doing all the fun things but obvs forgetting to post on social media whoops!

Please say hi if you see this cos I suspect the old algo has totally forgotten me now 🤣

I am SO proud of all my amazing hoop teacher training graduates who completed the 2026 course and are ready to spread the hoop joy into the world.

Also so proud of the hundreds of children I've taught over the last few months in schools around the uk. Not pictured for obvious reasons.

One of the sweetest parts of my job is when little kids nail a hoop trick and then their friends tell them "I'm so proud of you!" My heart melts 😍

And if you want to me to come to your child's school or summer fair (or winter one if the PTA is organised!) then DM me!

A lovely review from St Michael's CE Primary School where the amazing Kay aka Xena Flame worked for LiveLoveHoop last week.!

" Kay was as usual inspirational on her visit to St Michael's. Her unending energy, positivity and humour brought the best out in our learners. Kay manages to teach some very difficult moves to the most nervous of beginners and is so inclusive in how she leads her workshops. We would thoroughly recommend her."

I had such a wonderful time at RGS Prep School yesterday! I taught a lovely group of children from reception to year 2 how to spin hoops. Also, they told me that after I did a workshop in the same school two years ago, it started a hoop craze in the playgroup that lasted months! Here's to starting another one this year!
