We’re really proud of what our campaign has started! A huge thank you to M R Communications for their creativity and partnership in working with us and our amazing in such a powerful way to highlight and the policy changes we need.

’s campaign stood out last night amongst groups more powerful than us so, while we may not have come away with a top award, being chosen as finalists and recognised alongside these groups means our work is making its mark. So, AMMF is taking a brief moment to celebrate how far we’ve come — and we’re just getting started!

'Doctors thought I had gallstones - it turned out to be a rare liver cancer' 23/06/2025

Promoting our client AMMF's campaign in Scotland this month has involved working with Scottish patients who, despite being in the middle of treatment, have courageously shared their stories in the media to help others and raise awareness.

It is always a privilege to get to know people like Nikki and Neill Simpson: https://news.stv.tv/north/doctors-thought-i-had-gallstones-it-turned-out-to-be-a-rare-liver-cancer and Kevin and Lisa Wemyss, who helped to generate this article in The Times: https://www.thetimes.com/uk/scotland/article/why-scottish-cancer-patients-seek-hope-south-of-the-border-50xwzg5bf

'Doctors thought I had gallstones - it turned out to be a rare liver cancer' Nikki Simpson was forced to wait six months for a scan despite multiple visits to the GP in severe pain.

AMMF and the cancer they are dedicated to – the primary liver cancer cholangiocarcinoma – very much deserve the attention and recognition associated with these prestigious awards.

Rethink Liver Cancer campaign on BBC Breakfast 14/02/2025

Great to see Dame Zandra Rhodes and Charlie Shrager on BBC Breakfast this week with AMMF CEO Helen Morement.

When former model Charlie was diagnosed with in her 40s she was told it was a cancer that 'affects men over 65'. Zandra was diagnosed in 2020. Back in the 90s Charlie walked the catwalk at the launch of OK! magazine in Zandra's designs.

It has been a privilege to be involved in bringing these two inspiring women together for AMMF's campaign.

Faces of Cholangiocarcinoma with Rankin and Zandra Rhodes 06/02/2025

Our campaign work for AMMF continues this year, starting with - a project made possible by Dame Zandra Rhodes, photographer Rankin and 7 quite extraordinary people who are helping to put the spotlight on this cancer before we head to the House of Commons on 26 February and the Scottish Parliament on 11 June.

You can read about the 'Faces' and see Rankin's campaign photography here: https://ammf.org.uk/faces-of-cholangiocarcinoma/

Often referred to as bile duct cancer, is a primary liver cancer that is no longer rare in the UK, with incidence rising sharply, including among otherwise healthy adults in their 30s, 40s, and 50s. The cause of this rise is unknown.

While this disease has some of the worst early diagnosis and survival rates of all cancers, there is some good news on the horizon. Management of this cancer is being transformed by new life-extending treatments, with several now available for patients. But change is needed within our health service to ensure that everyone can benefit from these advances.

This video, shot at Rankin's London studio, shows the diversity of people - and ages - being diagnosed with this cancer: https://youtu.be/vDZ7mrkl86U?si=a6O3iIgdtHH1PIYm

It was such a pleasure to attend the official launch of the organisation on behalf of our client AMMF recently. Judith and Ashleigh Neptial set up FM2Y to support people of colour with cancer in the UK as a direct result of the inequalities Judith faced as a black woman diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma - a liver cancer that is often missed, misdiagnosed and managed too late in our health service, with access to treatment and chances of survival for NHS patients linked to where they are diagnosed and the community they live in. For more on FM2Y visit https://frommetoyou-uk.org/ For more on cholangiocarcinoma and patient resources visit https://ammf.org.uk/
