From “praepositors” in the 1840s, to today’s Heads of School, this new archive project has uncovered a rich history of student leadership at Brighton College.

As part of their national tour, brothers Henry Tydeman (Le. 2007-12) and John Tydeman (Al. 2008-13) are bringing their pop band ‘Barbara’ to Brighton's Hope & Ruin on Saturday 23 May for a hometown gig.
Known for their witty, melodic “soft, syrupy progressive fop pop”, the duo have won praise from the likes of Paul Weller and Chris Difford for their clever lyrics, theatrical glam-pop sound and sharp British storytelling.

Congratulations to former England wicketkeeper Sarah Taylor (Ch. 2002-07) who has been appointed fielding coach for the England’s men’s team during this summer’s Test series against New Zealand.
This landmark appointment makes her the first woman to coach an England men’s side in a major sport.

Shaun Pexton (Ry. 2017-22) was featured by Yale School of Engineering & Applied Science this week in a series spotlighting graduating students ahead of Commencement.

David Spillman (Le. 1991–93) is bringing 'The Pun Liner Show' to Brighton Fringe this May.
He will be performing a 50-minute set of clean, family-friendly comedy, with multiple dates at The Temple Bar (4, 9, 16 May) and The Walrus (27, 28 May).

How time flies... Amazing to think that we are already one week on from our annual OB London Drinks!
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at The Clarence and made the evening such a memorable one. It was fantastic to see so many familiar faces, new connections being formed, and plenty of laughter along the way. We hope you all had a great time reconnecting.
