Ben is 3 days into my 9 Day 1-1 Locksmith Training Course for Beginner's.

Today I gave Ben a challange!! I asked him to open 1 lock with 3 different techniques! And he accepted the challange.

I can confirm that in less than 30 minutes, Ben opened this High Security, British Standard Insurance Approved 3 star cylinder using the Bump Key, the dedicated Nsuper Lock pick, and also single pin picked it with flag picks.

For someone who has never opened a lock before starting with me 3 days ago, hes done smashingly well already!!

The future is bright for this guy, and he still has 6 days of left 😊

Last week we welcomed Sean from Revelution Locksmiths Merseyside in Liverpool onto our 5 Day Shadowing “Confidence Course” here at Brighton & Hove Locksmith Training. 🔐

Sean had previously completed a locksmith course elsewhere but, after some time away from trading full-time, came to us to build his confidence, knowledge and practical skills before returning to the locksmith industry.

During the week Sean attended 3–4 live jobs per day, gaining real hands-on experience and seeing the variety of locksmith work we carry out daily including lockouts, lock changes and faulty door mechanisms.

Our Shadowing “Confidence Course” is perfect for locksmiths wanting real-world experience alongside an established locksmith company.

🔑 Another successful job completed alongside Sussex Police 🚔

Another day, another student, another police pod — and another job done right.

We were called out once again to assist with a police pod, this time in Worthing, where an unopenable door on the pod had become a real issue.

Working alongside one of our students currently on our 5 Day Locksmith Confidence Course as part of our hands-on training, we approached the job methodically. Using non-destructive entry techniques, we were able to gain access without causing unnecessary damage to the door or locking mechanism.
With a bit of door adjustments and some flushing out the rust from one of the cyljnders that wasnt allowing the key to enter the keyway, we had ourselves a perfect working door again.

It’s exactly the kind of real world experience that helps our trainees build confidence and sharpen their locksmithing skills.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of training Colin Virgo of LockRite in on my 1-1, 1 Day Lock Bumping Course.
Lock bumping is a skill that has fast become a favourite entry method of mine on all differnt kinds of standard and high security cylinders.

Colin done fantastically well opening everything put in front of him and on the door set ups.
