Barcelona ❤️I spent a year studying here 14 years ago 😱 It brings back so many magical memories. It reminds me how much I love languages and communication with others in their native tongue. This is Lucy. She has recently begun Spanish lessons with me because she’s (already!) doing a course and wants a weekly top up to practise more speaking and expand her vocabulary. Lucy loves to travel and it’s important for her to be able to speak Spanish with the locals when she visits Spain. 🇪🇸
Last night we went to see the Daniel Martinez Flameco company (he’s also there in the photo 😉 ) and it was amazing 💃 ❤️

I just wanted to post this here in honour of my friend Terry. I had been teaching him Spanish for 6 months, we’d sit in the sun and he’d drink a beer and he’d tell me about his partner who was Spanish and all the fun times they’d had.
Terry passed away at the weekend, he was 75.
So just putting this here to say it’s never too late to start a new hobby, just do that thing you’ve been putting off and you might just make wonderful friends in the process. ❤️

Been working on something quite different with the talented .caruana ~ Helping her to learn a script for her amazing art piece in French which will be showing “Together at Last” in Pessac, France in April 2022.
I’m really enjoying clarifying the French phonetics to help with successful pronunciation.
