Welcome to the Portslade Kumon Study Centre.

Portslade Kumon offers individualised Maths and English study programmes digitally to help children of all ages from 3+ and abilities to realise their potential. ANY child of ANY ability can access an outstanding English & Math programme using the Kumon Method of Learning through Digital Connect within our study centre. The unique programme is designed to develop a child's maximum potential and es

tablish strong learning foundations with positive learning for their future. Kumon is not a traditional tuition provider as we encourage students to become independent learners to tackle unfamiliar work. We believe every child learns differently than conventionally and through individualised instruction, worksheet guidance and daily study at their ‘just-right’ level, your child will enable their self-learning skills. About the Instructors
This centre offers two Kumon instructors, Beckie and Miryana. We value education and care about children’s learning and development. To aspire to your child's ability and fluency will contribute to our society by improving life in local communities. Beckie has a BA Education degree and 9 years educational and childcare experience working with mixed ability children in primary and secondary schools including special needs, behavioural and private tutoring. Beckie has two children, one of them who has recently joined the kumon programme after witnessing the positive impact it has while observing children in training. Miryana also has a BA Law & Business degree and is a mum of three, who is passionate about children’s education. Miryana has seen first hand the positive impact the Kumon Method has had, not only in academic achievements but also in improving speed, concentration and study skills. We look forward to welcoming your family & child to the Portslade Kumon Study Centre.
