Our centre at Brighton marina is the p

erfect gateway to the ocean with the harbour entrance only a couple of minutes from the berth. The location also offers great views of Brighton, the South Downs and the chalk cliffs of the Seven Sisters towards Beachy head. From Brighton Marina we offer:

- RYA Keel Boat and Dinghy Sailing
- RYA Yachting Training, Days Out, Racing and Bareboat Charters
- RYA Powerboat Training, Charter and Rides
- Jet Ski Safaris
- Own-Boat Training in Motor and Sail

Join our RYA Personal Watercraft Instructor Course running 22nd-24th September!

Do you have at least 1 year experience riding a Personal Watercraft? If so… you could become a Personal Watercraft Instructor!

It’s perfect if you’re looking to work:

✅As an RYA-accredited instructor at a training centre
🚤In a PW hire centre
🛥️Onboard superyachts teaching guests and crew

To join this course, you must meet the following requirements:

🔖RYA Personal Watercraft Proficiency Certificate (or equivalent)
1️⃣1 year experience riding personal watercraft
🩹Valid RYA Small Craft First Aid Certificate
💳RYA Membership (required for instructor qualifications)

These ensure you have the practical experience and baseline safety skills needed to instruct others effectively.

Do you have 5 years of Powerboating experience or 1 season working full time on Powerboats? If so… you could become a Powerboat Instructor!

See the requirements below:

🚤 Five seasons’ logged powerboating experience (ideally across different boat types) — OR one season where powerboating is an integral part of your work
🚤 RYA Powerboat Level 2 certificate
🚤 Valid first aid certificate (e.g., RYA Small Craft First Aid)
🚤 RYA membership
🚤 Skills assessment pass certificate completed before the instructor course
