A little update from me...

After 10 years (how did that happen?!), I've decided it's time to say goodbye to this page.

When I started my coaching business back in 2016, this was where I shared everything. New ventures, little wins, workshops, career coaching, and MANY motivational quotes! 😄

I recently went right back to the beginning of this page and found the very first brand photo I shared. Comparing it with the photos from this year's shoot made me laugh. For starters, way too many of my original photos featured me stirring enormous cups of coffee. Why?! ☕ 🤣

But it also made me feel quite nostalgic. In between there's been ten years, two beautiful kids, hundreds of wonderful clients, more Zoom calls than I can count and thankfully, slightly better hair...

Thank you so much to everyone who's followed, liked, commented, shared my posts or recommended me over the years. Whether you're an old colleague, a friend, a client or someone who's just quietly cheered me on from the sidelines, I've really appreciated your support.

These days I find I'm spending much more time on LinkedIn and writing my newsletter on Substack, so rather than trying to keep lots of different platforms going, I'm going to focus my energy there instead.

Did you know that 42% of UK employees feel undervalued at work? According to a recent survey from Perkbox (Sept 2025), these employees also feel unmotivated (57%) and lacking in enthusiasm (47%). One in 3 are also considering leaving their jobs in the next year (34%).

This is BIG. Employers need to take notice if they want to avoid a major retention crisis.

Are you preparing to go on maternity leave? Or want to return to work after kids but need some support? Would you like to be my case study?

I'm super excited to be doing some extra professional training over the next couple of months in Parental Transition Coaching.

Did you know that 46% of mothers feel that employers lack empathy for working parents and 40% of mothers find confidence a barrier when considering returning to work? (source: parentandprofessional.co.uk)

This is an area of career coaching that I feel really passionately about and want to be able to support more women going through this challenging transition in their professional lives.

I am looking for two people who would be happy to work with me as case studies. I'll be offering two free coaching sessions each in exchange for being able to record the sessions and/or use them as an anonymised case study for my training (the session recording would also be completely confidential and disposed of when no longer required).

Coachees would ideally be at one of these points along the parental transition journey:

-Currently pregnant/expectant parents-to-be
-Newly adoptive parents
-Currently on parental leave
-Have returned to work within the last 6 months

Absolutely loved the Firework Career Coaching Masterclass last week led by coaching legend John Lees who was teaching us all about the '4 hour job search'.

I am trained in the 12 step Firework Coaching Method and use it with all my private career change clients to help them find the perfect job fit for them. It's a powerful and effective programme but it does take a couple of months to work through.

However if you're someone who is already 100% clear on the job you're looking for, then these new techniques are going to be perfect for helping you get faster, more impactful results during your job search. Keep an eye out for them becoming part of my coaching services very soon!
