Trees symbolize growth, strength, and unity, their roots an grounding force, painting them becomes a meditative and calming experience for our children.

The Easter season is a time for us to embrace nature’s renewal and engage in activities that connect us to the earth and the changing seasons. Our children engage in creative and artistic activities such as egg dyeing, nature walks, and storytelling that highlight the themes of rebirth and growth.

Our older children are encouraged to engage in a wide range of artistic, practical, and academic activities that aim to cultivate their intellect and develop a sense of purpose. They are provided with ample opportunities to participate in drama, music, and visual arts, which allows them to express themselves and build confidence and also emphasizes the importance of connecting with nature, as well as developing a sense of social responsibility and empathy.

Thank you to all who came out yesterday to support Green Oak at our first ever parent meeting! It was incredibly uplifting to see so many familiar faces and to meet new members of our extended community.

We take learning outside the traditional classroom and into nature. Children are encouraged to explore and learn through outdoor activities, sensory experiences, and hands-on learning. This holistic approach to education not only nurtures a child’s academic growth but also their emotional, physical, and social development.

Through handling and sculpting clay children learn patience and focus as they mould and shape the material into various forms and figures.

Painting is not just about creating beautiful works of art, but it also plays a crucial role in the development of a child’s creativity, imagination, and fine motor skills.
