Trip to Arundel Castle 🏰

Today, the children explored Arundel Castle, the chapel, and the beautiful gardens! Whilst in the gardens, the children were set a challenge to find a lost princess’s crown and Terry the turtle!
We also saw lots of beautiful flowers, plants and water fountains.
The children were mesmerised by the castle rooms, looking around in awe and listening closely to the staff who told them stories of each room! We learned lots of interesting facts about the history of the castle and about the Duke of Norfolk and his family who live there. ⛲️👑🐢

Exploring Our World at The Nursery School Brighton 🌎

Our children have been exploring the world around them, using a globe as their guide to discover different countries and places. We shared stories about holidays, adventures, and places we have visited, encouraging conversations and helping children learn from one another's experiences.

Inspired by these discussions, the children created their own worlds through imaginative design and construction. This activity supported creativity, communication, problem-solving, and confidence as they expressed their ideas and brought them to life.

Happy 2nd Birthday Brighton! 💙

Today we celebrated our second birthday since opening at Brighton, we had a grandparent kindly donate cakes to celebrate the occasion.
Chef Alex created a delicious birthday party tea for all of the children to enjoy and the children took part in some fun birthday party activities and dance party’s to celebrate!
We are so proud of the continuous growth and development at Brighton, and are so grateful to our amazing team and parents and families for their on going support. 💙

Trips into the Local Community!

Our nursery children love exploring the local community 🌟
From walks in the park to visiting local shops and discovering nature in the nature reserve, every trip is a chance to learn, grow, and build confidence. We’re proud to create fun experiences beyond the classroom every day.

A Trip to Brighton City Airport ✈️

We took a trip to our local airport to visit the planes and other automobiles. Following our preschool curriculum of transport we observed the planes taking off, landing and on stand. The children enjoyed sketching their own aircraft using their clipboards and pencils! Talking about the different parts of the planes that they could see!

Planting and Growing! 🌱

Our gardeners got hands-on with planting activities in the preschool garden. 🌱🌼
The children loved exploring soil, seeds, and watering their plants while learning how things grow. A fun and messy day full of smiles and discovery! 💚

Build a Bear Brighton 🧸

We took a trip to build a bear in Brighton, to choose and create a Nursery School Brighton bear who will then go home at the weekends with our preschool children to help strengthen the link between home and preschool.
This encourages the children to talk about their experiences, building confidence, communication, and language skills. It also promotes responsibility, supports early literacy through sharing photos with their peers at group times, and helps families become involved in their child’s learning in a fun and meaningful way

Crazy Beanz Yoga! 🧘

We all had such a lovely time taking part in storytelling yoga today 🧘‍♀️📖

Through movement, imagination and plenty of giggles, the children brought stories to life while building balance, focus and confidence.

A calm, creative session that everyone really enjoyed 🌈✨
