📚 A Trip to the Library!
Our children had a lovely visit to their local library, exploring the wonderful selection of books and enjoying the excitement of choosing stories to share together.
Reading is so important for children as it supports language development, imagination, communication and a lifelong love of learning. 📖🌟
We love making reading part of our everyday adventures!

🍌🍞 Banana Bread Fun!
Our preschool children had lots of fun making their own banana bread! 👨‍🍳 They helped measure, mix and prepare the ingredients before enjoying the delicious result.
Cooking is a fantastic way for children to develop independence and practical life skills, while also learning where our ingredients come from and how food is made. 🌱🥚🌾

🚂✨ A Magical Day at the Bluebell Railway! ✨🚂
Our preschool children had a fantastic adventure at the Bluebell Railway! They travelled on the steam train and stepped back in time with a brilliant medieval-themed cast, meeting characters and exploring a world of knights and history! 🏰⚔️

Brighton Graduation 2026! 🎓

Today we celebrated our 16 school leavers heading off on their school adventure this year, we held our graduation ceremony followed by a session with Music with Mike and a visit from some very special 4 legged friends! Chef Alex created some amazing food for the children and families to enjoy.
Thank you to everyone who attended our event today and the team who worked hard to make it so special.

Brightons Summer Social! ☀️

Thank you to all who attended our annual summer social last night, it was a fantastic evening of fun, delicious food and socialising together.
Chef Alex put on an amazing spread for us all to enjoy, a Moroccan themed variety of dishes, we look forward to welcoming you all again for our winter social later on this year!

Pets at Home! 🐰

We took a trip to our local pets at home store in Patcham retail park. Meeting some furry friends and see how many different animals we could find!
We enjoyed seeing what we could spot on our walk their and back, seeing which colours we could find in our environment!

Hatching turtles! 🐢

Our turtle friends have come to play, they’ve hatched out of their eggs and are off to sea! 🥚 Can we scoop away the sand and find where they’ve left their eggs? 🌊

The children loved investigating the textures in this tray, she used the paintbrushes to dig up the cornflour and sweep it all across the tray. They enjoyed discovering the seashells hidden all across the tray!

Music with Mike! 🎶

We had a wonderful time during our Music with Mike session! 🎤🥁 The children enjoyed singing along, moving to the music, and discovering new sounds through a variety of different instruments!
A fun-filled morning of music and smiles!

Beach trip 🐚 🪨

A group of our Preschool children had a wonderful time exploring Brighton beach, searching for shells, seaweed and special stones. They used their fine motor skills and teamwork to collect the natural parts and spoke about the texture and shapes they could find.
We then had a play on the park, using their gross motor skills to climb and investigate different levels before returning back to nursery! 🌊🪸
