The children helped clean all the items from the mud kitchen today. They really enjoyed the bubbles and using the wash cloths.

The children have enjoyed making Easter cakes. They melted the chocolate, mixed it into the cereal and put the mixture into cake cases. This helps with their fine motor skills and turn taking.

The children at Puffin are celebrating the end of Ramadan by making Eid biscuits in the shapes of moons and stars.

So sad that the children's play equipment has been vandalised! Lots of unhappy faces this morning 🙁

After lots of practice using chopsticks, everyone did really well when it came to lunchtime!

The children at Puffin have been practising using chopsticks today as part of their Chinese New Year preparations. It also helps develop their fine motor skills!

The children had fun painting on foil using different tools to make different patterns. They mixed colours to find out what new colour they could make. They shared nicely with their friends when they wanted to swap colours.

The children have been busy working on their fine motor skills painting using brushes of different sizes and their own hands to be creative. Some of the children were able to give meaning to the marks they made.

The children have been exploring tastes and textures. They enjoyed trying different foods which were sweet, salty, sour, crunchy and juicy.

The children at Puffin made some bread rolls with our chef Lisa. They enjoyed feeling and kneading the dough and flour and got to eat the rolls for snack with their soup.
