Huge thanks to Willow, who assisted for her final class today, having completed her voluntary work for her DofE. Such a wonderful help, it’s been a real pleasure having her around.

Quiet in places, with lots of people off on travels, and attending their associate programme, but those who were there brought their A game 🙌🏽. Have a wonderful rest, superstars 💛

A lovely dance-filled Sunday 😍

Started off by watching the inspiring Junior, Mid and Senior Associates at the Royal Ballet School.

Then hopped it over the bridge to Central School of Ballet, to watch Molly and Maia perform their duet in a choreographic competition through Cecchetti Associates. They’ve been working hard on their creation for many months and it showed - they won! Huge congratulations, both! Delighted for you 💫💛

Show ‘26, you absolutely rocked! 🙌🏽🔥💫

So many months in the planning - started saving ideas for choreography and music back in August, with the videographer, photographer and theatre booked a year in advance. Then there’s the scheduling, safeguarding, backstage logistics and costuming but, my goodness, it’s worth it to see the joy and growth it brings to those children! They were an absolute joy, both on and off stage.

One of my favourite elements of show weekend is the sense of community it helps nurture. Working together to produce our best, to entertain, and support each other - all of which creates a wonderful bond.

The most enormous thanks to my small but mighty team - Daisy, Lydia and Michelle. Thank you for producing such gorgeous pieces, and I’m so grateful for your care and dedication. Miss Sophie, your lyrical dance looked absolutely stunning! Chaperones, I know it’s not easy back there, so thank you for helping to make everything run smoothly. My family are simply wonderful for giving up their time to support me, working as ushers, chaperones, runners and more. A special thank you to my mum, sister-in-law and niece, for helping throughout the entire weekend, and keeping things beautifully organised backstage.

Hearing a child, who is normally quite reserved, passionately share that she never wants to take her costume off, hearing another come off stage and excitedly declare “I just want to do it all again”, and to hear one child whisper to another, who’d been berating herself for making a mistake, “you’ve got this,” it really does make it all worthwhile. Special moments to savour.

I’m so grateful for your beautiful messages and flowers. I was very touched and impressed that Rosey got on the mic at the end. An emotional one for Carmen and Gabrielle, being their last show as assistants. Let’s be real though, they will most certainly be back!

I’m proud of those students for shining so brightly. I can’t wait to see the video and pics. Let’s gather and watch on the big screen, like we always do. Details coming soon.

What an IMMENSE weekend that was 🔥🙌🏽🤩. I will post more fully soon, as there were some truly beautiful moments, both on and off stage, that I’d love to share. One exhausted but very proud school owner here, so just sharing a few pics for now 💛
