Here are our fabulous guest teachers:
Talia Duff will be leading workshops from Shrek The Musical, Dylan Jacobs will be delivering singing workshops, and Emma MacKay will be our lyrical dance tutor. Very excited to welcome these teachers/ performers to Elastic, with their wealth of experience and knowledge to share.

Which classes are available to my child as they grow? 💫

Reception & Year 1: An introductory class covering both ballet and modern, to establish excellent foundational skills, nurture imagination and develop a love of dance.

Year 2 & 3:
Separate classes in ballet, modern and tap, allowing time to delve into the separate syllabi, explore unset work and creative tasks, and start preparing students for exams (optional - once ready and if desired). From year 3, we also invite individuals to join our Performance Teams.

Year 4 & 5:
In addition to ballet, modern and tap, students also have the option to add contemporary, jazz and musical theatre.

Year 6 & above:
Students start progressing through the grades. We proudly follow the ISTD and Rambert Grades syllabi, alongside non-syllabus Musical Theatre classes, designed to train the students’ voices, and build confidence and performance skills.

Join us from September! Taster classes available to all before fully enrolling.

🌟 New for autumn term:
Tap dance:
Super excited to be introducing tap to Elastic, led by the brilliant Sophie Bruce. Suitable for students in Yr 2 and upwards.

Junior Jazz:
A wonderful class to advance technique and style. Students will be focusing on turns, kicks and leaps, plus that all important style, musicality and sense of performance. Suitable for approx ages 8 - 10.

🌟 Overall, we offer ballet, modern, contemporary, jazz, tap and musical theatre, for students in Reception upwards.

Audition success 🌟

Absolutely delighted to share that Holly, Kira, Ruby and Rumer have all successfully auditioned for the Junior Associate Programme at the renowned Central School of Ballet. We also have one further fabulous student on the waiting list. What an achievement at one of the most highly regarded training centres in the country, with students auditioning from all over the UK 💫

I am so proud of all five of these girls. They put themselves out there. They felt the nerves, they didn’t know to expect and they had nothing to compare the experience to, but they went for it regardless. In one child’s very perceptive and super cute words “I’ve got butterflies on top of my butterflies!”

Well done to all five students for stepping out of their comfort zone, and huge congratulations on the outcome. Extremely proud teacher here 👏🏽💛

A huge well done to all who took ballet exams this week. That was a mammoth exam session!

There’s a huge amount of hard work that leads up to that moment, so for the exam itself, and for the many months of effort and practise that led up to it - well done.

A day full of smiles, support and camaraderie. So proud of you all 💫

A first for us 🙌🏽🤩

Our very first exams in our new studios today. Seems fitting that they involved students who’ve been training at Elastic the longest.

Here are some pics from today, and also back in the day. Incredibly proud that these students are working harder than ever, and flourishing as a result. It’s an absolute privilege to help support their growth, and to have been part of their lives for so many years 💛

Huge congratulations to Aggie, Edie and Florence, who have all successfully passed their assessment and will continue to train at Central School of Ballet next year, progressing to JA3. With so few places available at this renowned centre of dance, this is a huge achievement. Another year of learning and growth ahead. Very proud teacher ✨💫💛
