Protecting island wildlife in the Galápagos starts with taking care of our local pups 🐾

Balancing wildlife protection with pet welfare in the Galápagos isn’t easy - introduced species like dogs can pose a real threat to fragile native species like sea lions. That’s why community care, sterilisation, and responsible pet ownership are everything out here.

Our teen volunteers dropped by the local rescue centre to give some love (and exercise) to the resident pups getting a second chance.

Judging by the tail wags and happy tongues, it’s safe to say the feeling was mutual! 🐶
