What began as a dream has transformed into an extraordinary reality! Our remarkable Year 6 Girls Football Team has achieved what many young athletes can only imagine:
✅ Champions of the Sussex Round – Displaying skill, determination and teamwork beyond their years
✅ Winners of the Southeast Finals at the prestigious Southampton Football Ground
✅ Now advancing to the NATIONAL FINALS at Wolverhampton Wanderers' Premier League stadium!

This journey represents more than just a series of victories – it's a testament to what young girls can achieve when they believe in themselves and have a community standing behind them.

A Once-in-a-Lifetime Opportunity
For many of these inspiring young athletes, playing on a Premier League pitch may be the pinnacle of their sporting careers. Imagine the lifelong memories they'll create, the confidence they'll build, and the lessons in perseverance they'll carry forward!
The Premier League is hosting this incredible event, but unfortunately, they cannot provide financial support for our team's journey to Wolverhampton. This is where YOU come in!

Transportation to Wolverhampton
Accommodations for the team
Meals and essential supplies
Team kit preparations

Our School-Wide Effort
Our entire school community is rallying behind the team! We're organizing a Football FUNdraiser on Friday, 23rd May, where all Key Stage 2 classes will participate in football activities to raise additional sponsorship money.

Last Friday, Donations Day focused on toiletries.
Once again, the response was incredible.
Thank you to everyone who brought an item into school. The Pantry has been stocked up ready to support our families 🛁

💫⭐️ We are incredibly proud of Matt Evans. Very well deserved ⭐️

This weekend Matt Evans was announced as the winner of the ESFA Teacher Dedication Award at the Reward & Recognition Awards 2024! 🥳🥳🥳

Matt received the award at Molineux for his work in supporting football at Balfour Primary School and in particular the growth in girls football at the school. We also congratulate our friends from Brighton & Hove District who received the Association Award 👏👏👏

🍄🌲🍄What a wonderful way to begin the bank-holiday weekend! Thank you to all the families who joined us to take part in The Children's Parade. It's always such a special occasion and thankfully the sun was shining! Huge thanks to the Year 4 team for all the amazing creations and to Miss Redfern for leading the samba band 🥁🪘🎺🍄🌲🍄
