It's the final day of 2025; I am excited to be delivering a keynote at a conference in Maidstone today, to talk to teachers about the importance of making maths engaging. We will be playing games - I am looking forward to giving my talk entitled "Maths for Kicks, Not for Ticks!". Enjoy the rest of Maths Week England, folks!

Morning everyone. In case anyone is planning to teach factors and multiples next week, please feel free to screenshot and use these cards. I made a few different sets of these for my classes, but here are the first two. Print, cut out, then give a set of four cards (set 1 or 2) to each pair/group of children to work out the secret number.
As an extension task, once they have found the secret number, ask the children if it is possible to get rid of any of the cards and still be able to know the correct answer.
