Year 5 and 6 Sports Day postponed due to the rain making it unsafe. It will now take place next Wednesday 24th June at the same time.

What a fantastic day at Withdean for our Year 4s, 5s and 6s. Great sportsmanship and attitude to doing their best. We came 4th overall in our district and had plenty of medals to show off!

Year 1 and 2 Sports Day postponed due to the rain making it unsafe. It will now take place next Tuesday 23rd June at the same time.

Don't forget, its our sports day this week. Please ensure you check the day and time for each event. Please note, there is no admission through the school office. All access is through the gate at the end of the field.

Our Year 5s spent a VERY wet day enjoying their residential yesterday. The rain did not dampen spirits however and they enjoyed the assault course, building dens in the woods and generally getting muddy!

Today, both classes met at the residential: 2 worlds collided and it was the weather rather than the classes!! They have had a very wet day with lots of activities: orienteering, forest art, swamp game (not literally) and helping each other get to know the site.
One class has now gone home soaking, muddy and exhausted as the second class begin their fun.

Our Year 5 children have had a busy first day at their residential and the children are exhausted. They started the day with finding their way around and did some orienteering in the rain!! After lunch, they created shelters in our groups-mostly successfully. They played rounders and made their own pizzas for dinner. After dinner, they played capture the flag. Hot chocolate before bed and a great night's sleep.

These clubs are beginning this week. Get booked on asap.

Some of our Year 3s and 4s went to represent us at a local tri-golf tournament. Great time had by all!!
