We are so proud of our amazing athletes who came back with 35 medals today from the inter-schools Withdean Athletics competition.

Year 5 have had a wonderful day learning about the Greeks from The History Man. They have wowed us with all the facts that they have found out!

We are excited to have received the GOLD School Games award again for all the wonderful sport and PE we do at SJB.

We are so proud of who we are, and we love showing off our National dress, food, music and languages on Diversity Day. Thank you to all the lovely parents who came in to share part of their culture.

We are so proud of our year 6 children for all of their hard work and the great progress they have made in and out of the classroom. We send them love and prayers for their SATs this week but we remember they are so much more than test results.

We had a wonderful May Day liturgy where we celebrated Mary, Jesus' mother, and the oldest and youngest child of the school crowned her with flowers.

It's Wheel-It Wednesday! We have so many bikes, scooters, skateboards and roller skates arriving at school. This means children are travelling more sustainably and that they can use their wheels during breaktimes.

We had a great time at the Children's Parade on Saturday with our amazing Samba band and our forest of Robin Hood and his merry group!

Some older children asked to set up a (supervised) skateboarding club at lunchtimes. Skateboards, helmets and pads have arrived and the older ones have loved teaching the younger ones skills and tricks. We were amazed by how quickly they picked these up!

Welcome back for the summer term! It is lovely seeing everyone excited to come in and start their new topics, and looking smart in their summer uniform.
