Big congrats to year 6 who have finished their SATs this week. We know tests are not the full measure of a child but we are still so proud of how maturely they have entered this week and the respect and kindness they have shown to each other.
Here they are enjoying their attendance award trip to the park last week. They have won the attendance award twice in a row now.
Well done year 6 we are so proud of you!

Roll up roll up... Carden Primary PTA are putting on another amazing summer event to help support the school and entertain the local community. On Sunday 7th June there will be a circus on the field at Carden Primary. Between all the show times there will be stalls and activities for everyone to enjoy. Between 1-2pm the children from Carden will be showcasing some talents alongside the wonderful 'Flashback Dance Crew' performing some of their dances. Entry to that and the stalls are free. Before the Easter holiday we were visited by Courtney Orange - a commonwealth medal winner - who spent the day putting the children (and staff) through their paces with a variety of exercises. The children were sponsored for completing their physical challenge and raised an amazing £4800.12. This money will be used to purchase new sports equipment for the school. Thank you to everyone for their hard work on the day - especially the children and Mr. Harrington - who organised the whole thing.

HAPPY EASTER from all at Carden Nursery and Primary School.
here are the wonderful nursery children enjoying all their Easter activities. They made bags and ears ready for their Easter hunt. They did a big hunt across the outdoor classroom. They also made their own hot cross buns - yummy!
