It will be 18months since I’ve been back on Aussie soil by the time we fly home in November. I can’t wait for all the catch ups with family & friends, the sandy beaches, the distinct smell in the air, the spaciousness, the dinners around the big dining room table + eating all the tim tams 😍✨🦘

Pregnancy and the postpartum period can be such a vortex.
There are so many changes occurring on a magnitude of levels concurrently, physically, emotionally and logistically, all whilst life still hurls along at lightening speed.
Our Becoming Mama Monthly Women’s Circle is an opportunity to pause, reflect and connect with yourself and other mama’s who are also navigating the whirlwind of matrescence.
Matrescence = the developmental transformation and rite of passage that occurs when a woman becomes a mother. It’s a unique, but universal experience that leaves no woman as it found her. It’s a profound time of change, learning and unlearning, and often the enormity of this is brushed over or overlooked but it deserves to be honoured & revered.
These monthly circles are a opportunity for you to carve out time that is just for you. To share insights, the nuance of your experience and the transformation + growth through the beauty, the challenge, the weird and wonderful fragments of your Matrescence journey.
Sitting in circle with community during this time can be so deeply healing and restorative as you see and tap into the wider tapestry of motherhood and see yourself through eyes, hearts + words of the women in circle with you.
Our next circle is:

Prepping for a little Hypnobubs Positive Birth Program Bonus sesh this morning 🩷🌷🌞
I love the depth of conversation that takes place within these intimate sessions. The fact that couples feel safe enough to explore the threads that form their tapestry as they step into parenthood, and anchor into the energetics of the birth space is truly so special.
It’s been the biggest honour to hold space, not only for the women within the group, but also for the men as they process and integrate the information and this nuanced and unique but universal experience.

Tools for self discovery + sparking meaningful conversation and connection⚡️
I purchased this deck of Cosmic Parenting cards the other day as a tool to play with in the exploration of self during transitional times and understanding the unique needs of others. I thought maybe they would be an intriguing way to spark conversations around what we need to feel safe, seen, supported and loved for who we are at our core and essense.
As someone who often wants to go deep straight away but can sometimes struggle to find the question that will unlock the vault and open up flow, having tools like this feels like a beautiful entry point for connection. Especially when walking alongside those who perhaps find it less easeful to share, be observed and receive support.
What are you favourite tools to invite self exploration and conversation with family, in relationships & with clients?

Exploring the realms of altered consciousness! 💭
I was in a 2:1 session with a couple the other day when the Mama asked for clarification around the difference between meditation & self hypnosis, because they sounded awfully similar.
And whilst hypnosis and meditation both lead us to deep relaxation, heightened awareness, and stress reduction. They differ in their purpose and approach.
Hypnosis targets specific goals with guidance, planting seeds to assist in shifting and changing unwanted behaviours, beliefs and narratives.
Meditation generally fosters overall well-being with independent practice.
Each offers unique pathways to inner peace and self-discovery and can be incredibly valuable in the lead up to and during your birth.
Self hypnosis is one of the many tools we use in the Hypnobubs Positive Birth Program to release fear, build confidence & work with the intuitive rhythms of your body and baby.
If you’re interested in learning more about what we cover in the Positive Birth Program comment “POSITIVE BIRTH’ and I’ll send you the course outline + a special discount code 🩷💃
