Our WRAP Nursery family is growing, and we’re on the lookout for a Level 2 or 3 Early Years Educator to join our team.

We’re hoping to find someone rather special.

- Someone who sees the magic in everyday moments.
- Who knows that a well-timed silly voice can turn a wobble into a giggle.
- Who can create bubble magic out of thin air.
- Who doesn’t mind the occasional climb, slide or spontaneous bear hunt!
- Who isn’t afraid to sing, sway and bring a little sparkle to the room.

At WRAP, we create a nurturing and inspiring environment where children (and grown-ups!) feel supported and free to be themselves.

What an unforgettable morning!

Today our preschoolers visited Preston Circus Fire Station, where firefighters Joe and Tommy gave us a behind-the-scenes tour of the station and spoke to us about their amazing jobs! The children loved climbing inside fire engines, trying on real firefighter jackets and helmets and seeing the blue lights flashing.

A highlight was spraying water from the hoses.l We gave the cars at the station a really good wash - it was so much fun! Joe even made a rainbow for us using the spray from the hose.

Then just as we were about to leave, the firefighters were called out to a real emergency! We watched in awe as they slid down the poles, geared up in seconds and headed off to the emergency call out.

A huge thank you to Joe, Tommy, and the whole team for such a special and inspiring experience.

On Sunday 4th of April, our WRAP Co-founders Ed and Sarah took on the Brighton 10K alongside the incredible team at Brightpip Charity 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Together, they helped raise an amazing £15,000 to support vital perinatal mental health services for parents and babies in those early, crucial stages of life.

From pregnancy through to age three, BrightPip helps families build stronger bonds and navigate difficult emotions, laying the foundations for lifelong wellbeing. 💛

We loved welcoming textile artist into nursery for a special workshop inspired by our 'Tide and Place' exhibition .space

Using images of the sea, the children explored how the ocean makes them feel - from calm to “fizzy”! They then turned those feelings into marks, experimenting with lines, textures and movement.

Using acrylic paint, rollers and found materials, they created their own mono-prints on fabric - each one completely unique. Together, these have been combined into an incredible collaborative artwork, ready to be displayed at a real art exhibition!

We can’t wait for the children and their families to see it tonight at their own special art private view, from 5-6pm at WRAP Space.💛
