Happening this Saturday at Brighton Unitarian:

As some of you may know, Cat Stead, our administrator, sings in two choirs, and one of them, Women of Note, has held several fundraising concerts here at the church over the years.

Their summer concert will take place here on Sat 18 July at 3pm, when they will be joined by a couple of special guest musicians familiar to our Friday lunchtime concert audiences, Evelyn Harrison (saxophone) and Jenny Janse (cello), alongside the choir’s talented accompanist Zhanna Kemp (piano).

So do come along for an hour of beautiful music followed by tea and cake. Free entry with retiring donations for the church and Trussell, the anti-poverty charity and community of foodbanks: www.trussell.org.uk

The Saltdeanistas, will be playing soul music on the Rottingdean Terrace Stage on Sunday aftenoon from 3-5pm. Make it part of your World Cup Final build up, which will hopefully include England. You'll hear some Stevie, Otis, Curtis and Gil Scott-Heron.
